Call for Research Proposals – Lindisfarne Centre Long-Form Project (2025)

The Lindisfarne Centre is seeking proposals from qualified academic researchers to undertake a commissioned, long-form research project for publication in 2025. This project will form a key part of our mission to deliver rigorous, in-depth analysis on issues affecting freedom of religion or belief worldwide.

Our long-form research reports provide a depth of insight that complements our monthly Lindisfarne Analyses, offering an evidence base that informs policymakers, scholars, and advocates.

Project Scope

We are inviting proposals for a substantial research study to be published under the Lindisfarne Centre banner. The research should demonstrate:

• Strong academic rigour and original analysis

• Clear methodology and adherence to recognised Research Ethics

• Relevance to the Centre’s focus on global patterns and causes of Christian persecution and related religious freedom issues

Submission Requirements

Applicants should provide:

1. Proposal – Minimum of two sides of A4, detailing:

• Research aims and questions

• Methodology

• Scope and structure

• Timeline and deliverables

• Resource needs and anticipated outputs

3.      A quotation in pounds sterling of the cost of undertaking the research.
